Talent is God-given. Be humble. Fame is man-given. Be grateful. Conceit is self-given. Be careful.
Be humble enough to realize that not everyone is talented at what you’re talented at – thus you’ve been given the opportunity to excel, be thankful. Be grateful enough to realize that men (and women) rarely give anything, especially fame, to others – thus the light has been shown on you purposely, be worthy. And be careful about your own conceit. You gave it to yourself, and it can destroy you… be very careful.
